Help Support Robin's Path to Becoming a Midwife!
Becoming a midwife is both a deep personal calling and a vital service to communities. As a student midwife, I’m training to offer compassionate, skilled care to families during one of the most transformative times in their lives. It’s work that matters now more than ever, as rural and underserved areas lose access to respectful, holistic maternity care.
Midwifery education is incredibly rewarding, but also incredibly costly. The time spent in preceptorship is time that I will not be able to work to support my family. Tuition is paid out of pocket every semester, along with any books and supplies. As a student in rural Maine, I travel a lot to prenatal visits and home visits. That means I pay a lot at the gas pump, and put a lot of wear on my car. Every bit of support, financial or otherwise, brings me closer to my goal of becoming a midwife.
If you’d like to support me on this path, here’s how:
Donate to help cover tuition, books, travel, and living expenses
Refer others to my services: placenta encapsulation and childbirth education are available now and help support me.
Send encouragement kind words go a long way when the days get tough. Especially at the end of my semesters!
